    ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಎರಡೂ ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಸಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹಿರಿಯ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತೆ, ಲೇಖಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕಿ ಡಾ.ಆರ್.ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

    ಸುರಾನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತಾಯ್ನುಡಿ ದಿನ- 2021 ಹಾಗೂ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಲೇಖಕ ಟಿ.ಜಿ.ಶ್ರೀನಿಧಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ‘ಬೆರಳ ತುದಿಯ ಬೆರಗು’ ಕೃತಿಯ ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾಲದ ಜೊತೆ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಲೇ ಬೇಕು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ನೆರವು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ. ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ನಮ್ಮ ಚಿಂತನೆಯ ಕೀಲಿಕೈ ಕೂಡ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಮಾಜದ ಜೊತೆ ಸಂವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧನವೂ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.

    ಲೇಖಕ ಶ್ರೀನಿಧಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, 2023ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಶೇ.68ರಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಹೇಳಿವೆ. ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತರ್‍ಜಾಲದ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲ ಹೊಸ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಸಣ್ಣ ನಗರಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಅಂತರಜಾಲ-ವಿಶ್ವವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಜಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಐಟಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

    ಸುರಾನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಜ್ಞಾನ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಡನೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ‘ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ’ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳು, ಕನ್ನಡದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಸ್ಥೂಲ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಪರಿಚಯ ಇರಬೇಕಾದ್ದು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ. ಆ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದಲೇ ಸುರಾನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗ ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಡಾ.ವತ್ಸಲಾ ಮೋಹನ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

    ಸುರಾನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಡಾ.ಭವಾನಿ ಎಂ.ಆರ್., ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಡಾ.ವಿಶಾಲಾ ವಾರಣಾಶಿ, ಡಾ.ಸುಷ್ಮಾ ಎಂ., ಡಾ.ಕೃಪ ಎ., ಇಜ್ಞಾನ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‍ನ ಟಿ.ಎಸ್.ಗೋಪಾಲ್, ಡಾ. ಎಚ್.ಆರ್.ಅಪ್ಪಣ್ಣಯ್ಯ, ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ, ಎನ್.ಜಿ.ಚೇತನ್, ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ಜಿ.ಎಸ್.ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಜಗತ್ತು ಕುರಿತ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಬರಹಗಳ ಸಂಕಲನವಾದ ‘ಬೆರಳ ತುದಿಯ ಬೆರಗು’ ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಕಾಸ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದೆ. 128 ಪುಟಗಳ ಈ ಕೃತಿಯ ಬೆಲೆ 120 ರೂ. ಆಗಿದೆ.

  • ಕೊರೊನಾ ತಡೆಗೆ ಚೀನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್- ಏನಿದರ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ?

    ಕೊರೊನಾ ತಡೆಗೆ ಚೀನಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್- ಏನಿದರ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ?

    ಬೀಜಿಂಗ್: ಕೊರೊನಾ ಚೀನಾವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಡಿ ಹಿಪ್ಪೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಚೀನಾದಲ್ಲೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸುಮಾರು ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಜನ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನ ಸೋಂಕಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಾವು ತಡೆಯಲು ಚೀನಾ ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಆವಿಷ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇದೀಗ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

    ಈ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಚೀನಾ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‍ಗಳು ಸ್ವಯಂಚಾಲಿತವಾಗಿ ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳ ದೇಹದ ಉಷ್ಣಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸು ಗಸ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳ ದೇಹದ ಉಷ್ಣಾಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರುಪೇರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೊರೊನಾ ವೈರಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಚೀನಾ ಸಮರ ಸಾರಿದೆ.

    ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‍ಗಳು ಪಾದಚಾರಿಗಳ ದೇಹದ ಉಷ್ಣಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ದೇಹದ ತಾಪಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರುಪೇರಾಗಿರುವುದು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗ ರೋಗ ಇರುವುದು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ, ನಂತರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಐಡಿಯಾ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಚೀನಾ ಕೊರೊನಾ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದೆ.

    ಈ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಇದೀಗ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈರಲ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‍ಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾಗಳು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ದೇಹದ ಉಷ್ಣಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ರೋಗ ತಡೆಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾ ತಡೆಗೆ ಚೀನಾ ಉತ್ತಮ ಉಪಾಯ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

    ವಿಡಿಯೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ತೋರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ದೇಹದ ಉಷ್ಣಾಂಶ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‍ನ ಗಾಜಿನ ಪರದೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ರೋಗ ಇರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‍ನ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾಗಳು 5 ಮೀಟರ್ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ದೇಹದ ಉಷ್ಣಾಂಶವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲಾರ್ಮ್ ಸೌಂಡ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ನಿಮ್ಹಾನ್ಸ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಘಟಕ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ. ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ನಿಮ್ಹಾನ್ಸ್ ಇನ್‍ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಡಾ. ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರು, ‘ಹ್ಯೂಮನ್ ಜಿನೋಮ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್’, ‘ನ್ಯೂರೊ ಬಯಾಲಜಿ ರಿಸರ್ಚ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್’, ‘ನ್ಯೂರೊ ಇನ್ಫೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್’ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. “ನಿಮ್ಹಾನ್ಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ವಿಸ್ತೃತವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೇ ದೇಶ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.

    ಸದ್ಯ ನಿಮ್ಹಾನ್ಸ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ 400 ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಇದ್ದು, ಈ ಸಾಮಥ್ರ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಜತೆಗೆ ಈ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗದು. ಹಾಗಾಗೀ ಈ ಕೆಲಸ ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಆಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೇ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಘಟಕ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವೂ ಇದೆ. ಇಂಥ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ನೀವು ಸೇರಿ ಮಾಡೋಣ. ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಲು ಬದ್ಧ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

    ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದ ನಿಮ್ಹಾನ್ಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಇಂದು ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಇಂಥ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಬಹುದು ಎನ್ನಲು ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯೇ ನಿರ್ದಶನ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ 75ನೇ ವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಲೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಆಶಯ ಬಹಳ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

    ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಬರುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಅತಿ ವಿರಳ. ಅಂಥವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಕೊಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಕೊರತೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಇದೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಆದಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಅವರು ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು, ಉತ್ತಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಭರವಸೆ ನನಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
