    ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನೀತಿ ಆಯೋಗವು ದೇಶದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಕೇರಳ ಟಾಪರ್ ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ 8ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊನೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ.

    23 ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಯಾರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ‘ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಗತಿಶೀಲ ಭಾರತ’ “Healthy States, Progressive India” ಎಂಬ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ನೀತಿ ಆಯೋಗದ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ. ರಾಜೀವ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ವರದಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೂಚ್ಯಂಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಹಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ತೀರಾ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆ.

    ಕೇರಳದ ನಂತರದ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಎರಡು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಉತ್ತಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಹರಿಯಾಣ, ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾರ್ಖಂಡ್ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಛತ್ತೀಸ್‍ಗಢ ಅತಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಸಾಧಿಸಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಮುದುಕರಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ವಯಸ್ಕರು, ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು

    – ನೀರಿದ್ದರೂ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಭಯ
    – ದುಡಿದ ದುಡ್ಡೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಪಾಲಾದರೂ ಸಿಗದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ
    – ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳೇ ಜನರ ಪಾಲಿನ ವಿಲನ್‍ಗಳು

    ರಾಯಚೂರು: ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ಎರಡು ನದಿಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಭೀಕರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಿಸಿಲನಾಡು ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಕೆಲವೆಡೆ ನೀರೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ದೇವದುರ್ಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ರೇಕಲಮರಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಹೆದರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯವಯಸ್ಕರು ಮುದುಕರಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಾರೆ, ನಡು ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೀಲು, ಮೊಣಕಾಲು ನೋವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳಂತೂ ಆರು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಇಡೀ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಒಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ನೋವಿನಿಂದ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಸರಿಸುಮಾರು 400 ಜನ ಇರುವ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿನಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕುಳಿತರೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಂತರೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆಗದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಹುತೇಕರ ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳು ಸೊಟ್ಟಗಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ನಡೆದಾಡಲು ಸಹ ಬರುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಕಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿವೆ. ಬೋರ್‍ವೆಲ್ ನೀರನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿರುವ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಫ್ಲೋರೈಡ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ವಿಪರೀತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಈ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ನಿತ್ಯ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಷ್ಟ ಕೇಳುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಳಲನ್ನು ತೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಕಳೆದ ನಾಲ್ಕೈದು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ವಿಪರೀತವಾಗಿ ಕೀಲು ಬೇನೆಯಿಂದ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಜನರು ನರಳಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸದಾ ಒಂದಿಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಖರ್ಚುಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಘಟಕವಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಶುದ್ಧ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಕದ ಮೂರು ಕಿ.ಮೀ ದೂರದ ಮಲ್ಲೇದೇವರಗುಡ್ಡ ಅಥವಾ ಜಾಗೀರ ಜಾಡಲದಿನ್ನಿಗೆ ಜನರು ಹೋಗಿ ನೀರು ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯ್ತಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಮಳೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಂತರ್ಜಲ ಕುಸಿದು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ಯತೆ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಘಟಕಗಳನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಉಪಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮಹ್ಮದ್ ಯೂಸೂಫ್ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೆಡೆ ನೀರಿಲ್ಲ ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ನೀರಿದ್ದರೂ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಘಟಕಗಳು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಅಧಿಕ ಫ್ಲೋರೈಡ್ ಅಂಶವಿರುವ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿದು ಜನತೆ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಜನರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
